General Manager Kevin Grover couldn't handle the competition from the Gophers. Both franchises set-up in Georgetown last season against the advice of the RHL Commisioner, League officials advised both GM's that the Georgetown market was too small to support two franchises.
Although the two teams finished well, (Gophers 4th and Blues 5th) It seemed the fans were flocking to the Gopher Hole in droves leaving the Blues playing in a nearly empty arena every night.
GM Kevin Grover moved his team to Sarnia and will call them the "Sarnia Colts"
