Draft Pushed back an Hour & Commisioner Filion Speaks Out

The league has voted unanimously and the draft is pushed back to 9PM. When Red Wings General Manager and League Commisioner was asked about this years draft, he commented on some of the GM's lack of speed while making picks. More specifically, he targeted Gougers GM Christian Friedewold and was quoted saying this:

"Christian is really bad for that"

General Manager Filion continued to speak out when he decided to make some predictions about how certain teams will finish this season. He was quoted picking four teams that he feels will not make the playoffs:

"The Colts, the Firecats, and the Clamhammers are out for sure"

Filion even went further, and specifically attacked GM Darryl Newcombe of the Alliston 93 Leafs:

"I shouldn't say anything, cause I don't really know him, but there is no way the 93 Leafs will make the playoffs!"

Filion wasn't the only GM with something to say, Brent Younger, GM of the Clamhammers also picked the 93 Leafs for a dismal season. Younger was quoted with the following comment:

"93 Leafs just sound like a last place team .... What a terrible name"

In other rumblings around the league, GM Shane Scanlan was asked about the rivalry between his beloved Mullets and Filion's Red Wings, He released the following statement:

"I can't believe that guy is on me already, what's his problem? I'm not going to say anything back to him because he'll probably threaten to kick me out of the league like last year."

That's the dirt for today, and remember gentlemen, it's all in good fun. Good luck to all teams at the draft on Thursday.

Everything quoted is either a complete fabrication or taken way out of context.
