The Mighty Perogies move to Streetsville!
The Mighty Perogies of Mississauga are now known as the Streetsville Perogies.

****UPDATED - Mighty no longer! - As reported above the Mighty Perogies of Mississauga are now the Streetsville Perogies.
Streetsville (pop. 12,040) is a neighbourhood located in the northwestern corner of the city of Mississauga, on the Credit River where the Perogies have always played. Streetsville occupies both the west and east banks of the river, but the majority of it's fan base is located on the west bank of the river. Through litigation in the municipal government the Perogies were able to claim Streetsville as 'home' in it's namesake and will now be known as the Streetsville Perogies. GM Matt Gierasimczuk was able to make the change just in time for the new season registering the team just 4 days before the draft.
